Each tonic calls for coconut or aloe water as the base, but sometimes you can find both nourishing ingredients combined. Using natural coconut or aloe water in comparison to store-bought fruit juices reduce the amount of added sugars in your tonics to ensure you stay energized and balanced. Coconut water is known to aid in digestion, maintaining electrolyte balance, and provide blood pressure support while aloe water aids in balancing the body’s pH levels, detoxifying the liver, and clearing the skin. Either of these bases is a great foundation for your tonic and health. Optionally, serve your tonic chilled without ice watering it down by freezing your base of choice in ice cube trays. Freezing the fruit also works great for tonics in no time!
