Saxifraga ligulata, also known as Bergenia ligulata or pashanbheda is a small flowering plant from the Himalayan mountains.
Its name means stonebreaker as it has traditionally been used for kidney stones. It's active constituent bergenin is a phenolic compound that promotes diuresis in the kidneys. Pashanbheda promotes the healthy processing of calcium by the kidneys and supports urinary tract health.
