Recipe: Chickpea Salad


  • Chickpeas, 1 Cup
  • Onion, 1 chopped
  • Ginger, 1 Tablespoon grinded.
  • Salt, 1 teaspoon
  • Tomato, 1 chopped
  • Mango powder, 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon, 1 Freshly squeezed
  • Cayenne pepper, optional up to taste

Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Serving: 2-3

Rinse the beans and soak overnight. Place in pan, cover with water, add salt, and cook until tender. Do not overcook. When chickpeas are done, remove from heat and add raw onion, ginger, tomatoes and lemon juice to the pan, add cayenne pepper, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
