Hi, this is Dr. Virender Sodhi. Welcome, today I'm going to talk about a wonderful herb, Ashwagandha.

The latin name for Ashwagandha is Withania somnifera. Withania somnifera is grown in India in a deserty soil. It is a very wonderful plant, which the root and the leaves of this plant are used as medicine.

These plants are harvested in the Fall season, then they are extracted in our unit back in India in Dharamsala. Once they are extracted and dried into a powder form, they are put into capsules and tablets.

Ashwagandha has a lot of research available on websites. If you Google Aswagandha, you will be able to find tons of research on it.
